Madeleine's vinaigrette dressing

This vinaigrette is the recipe of my great-aunt Madeleine… slightly modified to the flavor of the day! Indeed, it contained a lot of refined sugar, which is something we now try to avoid, especially to put in a salad!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 ml) olive oil

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) white vinegar

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar

  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) paprika

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) onion powder

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) celery seeds

  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard

  • ½ tsp (2.5 ml) salt

Preparation

  1. In an airtight container, add all the ingredients and mix well.

  2. Let stand at room temperature before serving. If difficult to shake, defrost in the microwave.
