Sausage & Cheeze Pupcakes
Your dog will love this vegan savory cupcake recipe!
You can steal one from him .. but without sugar or salt, it’ll appreciate it a lot more than you!

Servings : 9 big pupcakes
Ingredients
1 ½ cup (375 ml) whole wheat flour
1 tsp (5 ml) baking powder
1 tsp (5 ml) baking soda
1 cup (250 ml) unsweetened soy milk
½ cup (125 ml) natural peanut butter
¼ cup (60 ml) neutral oil
1 ½ cup (375 ml) zucchini, grated and placed on a dish cloth to press out some of the excess moisture
90 g non-spicy vegan sausage, cut into small pieces
½ cup (125 ml) vegan cheese, shredded
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350F.
Mix all the ingredients together, except the cheeze.
Add the cheeze and mix gently
Pour into cupcake molds.
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
Optional: Let cool then spread the unsweetened icing of your choice. I mixed here:
4 Tbsp (60 ml) plain unsweetened vegan yogurt
2 Tbsp (30 ml) peanut butter
1 Tbsp (15 ml) chickpea flour
