Teriyaki Tofu
A very simple recipe, but still delicious for the barbecue! It takes very little time to make, you just have to think about preparing it in advance.

Ingredients
1 block (350 g) extra-firm tofu, cut into 10 slices
¼ cup (60 ml) water
⅓ cup (75 ml) soy sauce
2 Tbsp (30 ml) maple syrup
2 Tbsp (30 ml) rice vinegar
1 tsp (5 ml) sesame oil
1 tsp (5 ml) freshly grated ginger (I used minced ginger)
1 garlic clove, minced (I used 1 tsp (5 ml) of minced garlic)
Preparation
In an airtight container, put the sliced tofu and all the marinade ingredients. Close the container and mix well. Let stand in the fridge for at least an hour (even better if done the day before).
In a non-stick pan or on the barbecue, cook the tofu slices. Turn regularly on each side to make sure it doesn’t stick.
Serve over rice, vermicelli and/or vegetables, drizzled with the rest of the marinade.
