Cocktail Sausages
Who loves cocktail sausages? You’ll also love this super simple, quick vegan version with very few ingredients.
A good appetizer for the holiday season as well as for sugar shack season!

Servings : 18 cocktail sausages
Ingredients
- 6 vegan hotdog sausages, cut into 3 pieces (I used Yves sausages) 
- 9 pieces of vegan bacon, cut in half lengthwise (I used Lightlife foods’ bacon) 
- 18 toothpicks 
- 1 cup (250 ml) maple syrup 
- ¼ cup (60 ml) water 
Preparation
- Roll each piece of bacon around a piece of sausage and hold using a toothpick. 
- In a non-stick skillet, pour the maple syrup with the water and bring to a boil. Add the sausages, lower the heat and simmer. Cook 5-10 minutes.
