These vegetarian dog cookies with only 5 ingredients really made Nougat (my dog) happy! He even took the opportunity to steal one during the photoshoot!

The cookies smell and taste (yes, we tasted it!) really good! They look like energy bites.

Preparation time : 10 min

Cooking time : 18 min

Servings: 10 small cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 very ripe banana (I used a unfrozen banana from the freezer)

  • ½ cup (125 ml) rolled oats

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) whole-wheat flour

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (for his breath)

  • ¼ cup (60 ml) natural peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 300˚F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a bowl, purée the banana with a fork. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well with a spatula.

  3. Place the small dough balls on the baking sheet.

  4. Bake for about 18 minutes. Let cool completely before giving them to your dog. These are freezable.
